Custom awnings, built to your opening
We manufacture every awning to the millimetre in our own workshop — folding-arm, canvas, classical, solid-ceiling and sunscreen systems — then deliver and install across South Africa and into African markets.

One workshop, forty-two years of awning making
An awning has one job: to make an outdoor space usable in weather that would otherwise chase you indoors. Doing that well is a manufacturing problem, not a catalogue problem. Frames have to be sized for the span, fabrics chosen for the UV load, brackets fixed into structure that will actually hold them, and drainage planned before the first bolt goes in.
That is why we still cut, weld, sew and powder-coat in-house. It means we can build to a measurement rather than to a stock size, and it means the person who quotes your awning can answer for how it was made.
Conditions vary enormously across the regions we supply — highveld hail and UV, coastal salt air, Lowveld heat, dust and heavy seasonal rain further north. We specify the frame gauge, fixings and fabric to match the site, not to match an average.

Our manufacturing base is in Pretoria and our installation teams travel nationwide. Beyond South Africa we supply clients in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Eswatini and Lesotho, and we quote on projects further into the continent on request.
Nationwide installation
Our own teams install anywhere in South Africa. Travel and accommodation are shown transparently in the quote — no surprises after acceptance.
Export-ready manufacture
Cross-border orders ship crated and labelled with fixing schedules, torque specs and a component list, so a local contractor can install to our standard.
Remote measure support
Where a site visit is impractical, we run a guided measure — dimensioned photos, structure checks and a signed-off drawing before anything is cut.
Awning questions, answered
- Do you supply and install awnings outside South Africa?
- Yes. We manufacture in Pretoria and deliver across South Africa as well as into neighbouring and wider African markets including Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Eswatini, Lesotho and beyond. Cross-border orders are crated for export and can be installed by our travelling team or supplied as a fully documented install kit for your local contractor.
- Which awning type suits an exposed, high-wind site?
- Fixed and classical frames, zip-track sunscreens and solid-ceiling awnings hold up best in exposed coastal or highveld conditions. Folding-arm awnings are ideal where you need the option to retract, and can be specified with a wind sensor that closes the awning automatically.
- How long does a custom awning take?
- Most residential awnings are manufactured within three to four weeks of sign-off, with installation scheduled straight after. Export and multi-unit orders are quoted with their own lead time up front.
- What warranty and after-sales support do you offer?
- Frames, powder coating and workmanship are warranted, with fabric warranties carried by the mill. We have serviced installations since 1984 and stock spares for the systems we manufacture, so recovers and motor replacements stay straightforward years later.
